Overview

Leaders-who-coach give you a winning advantage because they maximise the potential of their teams. They use coaching skills in their leadership to ensure work is de-bottlenecked, people are engaged and performance conversations are effective. This ground-breaking training draws on the Coaching On the Go approach to collaborative leadership. We use their unique GIZMO to provide participants with a COTG Skills Report.

Coaching On the Go is a unique and innovative approach to developing your coaching skills as part of your leadership toolkit and these coaching skills improve the impact you have on others. Importantly, you are not being taught to coach, but you are being taught how to use the skills of coaching as part of what you already do. This comprehensive course gives you insight into your existing skills and how to develop them further; and ensures you identify new practices for immediate use. You will receive personalised mentoring and coaching to deepen your personal experience and accelerate your impact.

You will be involved in activities with others throughout the course, both during the workshops and experimenting with colleagues. It is a highly personalised learning experience and includes short self-directed online videos, activities and other resources to prompt continuous reflection and change to make the learning stick.

The Coaching On the Go book illustrates the dimensions of coaching using examples of the activities of an airline crew – this is why we call this course, Flying First Class.

Simple to arrange and highly effective - you can choose to run this course exactly as described or we can create a customised solution that meets your specific needs.

In-person learning is usually delivered at your premises and individualised 1-2- support, virtually.

Our specialist facilitators are experts in their fields and can tailor our existing courses to suit the specific needs of your organisation - or alternatively, design courses and programmes that are entirely bespoke, crafted in response to the unique requirements of your business.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
